simple and delicious summer bruschetta

SERVES 6-10 • PREP TIME: 15 MIN • COOK TIME: 20 MIN
 



INGREDIENTS

BREAD:
1 Large baguette, sliced into 1/2" sliced
1 clove - garlic (cut in half)

 

 

 

 

BRUSCHETTA:
1 tbsp – olive oil
2 cloves – garlic (minced)
1/4 cup – fresh basil (chopped and divided)
4 - Select One Tomatoes on the Vine
1/4 cup – onion (finely chopped)
Fresh cracked pepper, to taste
1/4 cup – fresh basil (chopped and divided)
Sea salt, to taste


DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F

Combine olive oil, garlic, basil, tomatoes, onion, salt and pepper in a bowl and then set aside.

Brush both sides of each slice of bread with olive oil and rub with cut side of garlic clove.

Line up baguette slices on baking sheet and toast for 3 minutes or until golden brown.

Top each slice with a generous portion of tomato mixture and garnish with basil leaves.
