The foremost goal of AMCO's EatSafe , food safety program is to impart basic knowledge and awareness on farm workers and employees. This will give them the information and skills to effectively maintain hygiene and sanitation procedures while keeping their working environment free from contamination. As this program progresses, we hope to continually update the information and knowledge available to our workers. In order to ensure the highest quality evidence-based information for this program, we have invited technical personnel from the "Food Safety Network" at the University of Guelph to help us in this process.
Currently, the preamble of the comprehensive sanitation schedule for AMCO Group of Companies is being devised based on scientific information to maintain the regulatory requirements of HACCP and to prevent the microbial hazards on routine produce.
